Straight answers
FAQ about
our products.
Is a 2.5 kW unit right for my room?+
It is a common size for smaller rooms, but floor area alone is not enough. Glazing, insulation, occupancy, equipment and how the room is used all affect the load. YCS confirms the size before quoting.
Does a 2.5 kW system use 2.5 kW of electricity?+
No. The 2.5 kW figure describes cooling output, not electrical input. Rated input is shown above where the manufacturer publishes it, and real consumption varies as the inverter adjusts to demand.
Can the same unit heat the room?+
Yes. Modern split air-conditioning systems are heat pumps, so they can provide both cooling and efficient heating.
What does A+++ mean?+
It is the top band on the product energy label. Compare the exact model and its seasonal SEER and SCOP figures, as ratings can differ across a manufacturer’s range.
How often should it be serviced?+
Most systems benefit from planned annual maintenance, while heavily used commercial equipment may need more frequent attention. We will recommend an interval for your site.
